ACLS
Course Overview
At CMEs Training, we provide the most comprehensive ACLS schedules for all of your American Heart Association course needs! We present ACLS like no other organization can. Our class format and size is designed to maximize the participant’s hands-on training and to incorporate the ‘critical concepts’ of ACLS for effective patient management and the continuing care of a critically ill patient. The goal of CMEs Training is to provide the latest in AHA/ ACLS technology and teach you how to use it. Our professional staff of educators consists of RN’s, CRNAs, Nationally Registered Paramedic/EMT’s, Anesthesiologists, ED Physicians and Specialty Clinicians who are dedicated to the success of all participants. Course Prerequisites and Preparation
Since the ACLS provider course does not teach algorithms, ECG recognition, pharmacology, or CPR, ALL participants must be able to identify and remedy any gaps in their knowledge of all these topics prior to class. The following skills are required for successful course completion:
- BLS skills
- ECG rhythm identification
- Basic Pharmacology
- Airway Management
- Practical application of knowledge to clinical scenarios
- Resuscitation team concepts
A pre-course test is required for all participants taking this course for the first time. This must be completed and turned in on the first day of class.

ACLS Initial Provider
Starting at: $175.00
This course is appropriate for the healthcare provider who may use ACLS infrequently or for the first-time healthcare provider as well as individuals with expired AHA/ACLS cards. Required textbooks are available in our bookstore.
If you already have a current textbook, please bring it to the course. Upon successful paid registration, a pre-course study guide with pre-test link will be provided.

ACLS Intermediate
Starting at: $115.00
A current ACLS card is required for entrance to this intermediate program. This class is designed for the healthcare professional who has a working knowledge of ACLS and utilizes these skills on a daily basis.
The following course has been approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and the District of Columbia for 8 CEU hours. This course has been designed for the nurse who wishes to enhance their knowledge base and their practical application in the Evidence Base Science that the 2010 AHA resuscitation guidelines has set as the Gold Standard for all in and out of hospital sudden cardiac arrest. The Core changes in these guidelines will be cover in detail outlining all of the Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support core changes. On successful completion of this course the participate will receive an AHA ACLS certification card and a certificate of completion for 8 hours.
